What is Needed:
- 1 Sheet of 1/2" x 15-3/4" x 36-1/2" Plywood
- 1 Board of 4" x 6" x 15-3/4" Lumber
- 2 Boards of 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 35-1/2" Finishing Lumber
- 2 Boards of 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 12-3/4" Finishing Lumber
- 3 Boards of 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 5-3/8" Finishing Lumber
- 1 Box of 3/4" Wood Screws
- 12-3/4" x 27-1/4" Mirror
How to Build:
1. Either purchase a similar sized mirror or cut a mirror to the appropriate dimensions. A note of caution if you chose to cut the mirror, the mirror fragments can be very sharp so use proper protective measures. Additionally, in order to ensure a clean edge it is recommended that you use a glass cutting tool.
2. Cut the plywood sheet, using a table or circular saw, to the appropriate dimensions stated above.
3. Using 4-6 wood screws, attach the 2" x 6" board to the plywood base. This piece will serve as the back rest for the solar panel positioned at a 45 degree angle.
4. Frame the border of the plywood base with the 1/4" x 1-1/2" finishing wood.
5. Attach the 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 12-3/4" finishing wood 6-3/4" away from the solar panel backrest.
6. Place the three 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 5-3/8" finishing lumber 2" apart starting from the finished border.
